I came to Restore following a failed root canal with my local dentist, who informed me that my tooth required specialist attention.  I am so glad that I saw Mr Dewan! Initially, the chances of saving my tooth seemed slim, due to unusual root anatomy and a blocked canal.  In our first appointment, Mr Dewan was honest about the complexity of my case but gave me full confidence that he would try his best to unblock the canal and avoid extraction.  It took two separate sessions of working on my tooth but it was worth it, as I have had no issues since! He even booked me in for an additional check up at no extra charge, just to see how I was getting on.  His receptionist Lucy was also a delight, she let me use the lounge to charge my phone one day when my battery died and was very friendly whilst booking my appointments.  Overall, I am a very satisfied patient and would highly recommend Restore to anyone experiencing complicated tooth issues!

I recently had a root canal treatment with Dr Karun Dewan and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only did the procedure go smoothly with no pain, but the dentist provided clear and informative explanations throughout the entire process. The facilities were also top-notch and it was clear that the dentist takes great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for their patients.

The dentist went above and beyond to ensure the success of the treatment. He took extra steps to make sure that everything was done correctly and that I was comfortable at all times. My wife needed a dental implant. After a reasearch We decided to see Mr Karun as he is very experienced professional and we knew she will be in good hands here. The root extraction was very smooth and painless. The surgery to place an implant went very well. We can say only the best about the practice, Mr Dewan and the team.

Mr Dewan and the Restore dental practice gave my son and I the best experience we have ever had at a dentist. Mr Dewan is intelligent, respectful and extremely skilled at his job. His people skills are also second to none. He has a sense of humour and explains everything as he goes along, if you want that. He talked my son out of having sedation, which was the right thing to do. He uses a microscope to work. The root canal treatment my son had went extremely well and he didn’t even need paracetamol afterwards. If I could I would give him 11/10. I cannot recommend this dentist highly enough.

I am extremely happy and satisfied with my dental treatment. Karun Dewan was up-front and explained to me in detail what was the cause, symptoms and proposed treatment. I followed his plan and results were more than I expected.

Every stage Staff reception all helpful made me feel at ease with each stage of my treatment any enquiries. Mr Dewan has been amazing. I am so pleased with my treatment He has given me my smile back.

I recently received treatment from Mr Karun Dewan, after being referred by my usual dentist. He was exceptionally kind and helpful, and listened carefully to all aspects of the problem. He then assessed and advised management options, their pros and cons, and then full details of the treatment once decided on.

The treatment was completed 6 weeks ago, with excellent attention to detail, and I am delighted with the outcome, and very grateful to Mr Dewan and the team.

I have recently completed a course of treatment, at Restore in Barnt Green, which involved RCT, Crown and Bridge work.   I found the environment at the practice welcoming an relaxing and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

At my initial visit, Mr Dewan provided a clear explanation of what was required, he was honest regarding expectations and potential outcomes  and kept me fully informed and involved throughout.  He was very professional and thorough.  I could not have wished for better care and would not hesitate to use the practice again.

I visited RESTORE expecting nothing. I met Mr Karun Dewan Restorative Dental Consultant. I have extreme gum recession so unable to retain a lower denture. Three previous dentist s had been unable to help me at all. Dr Karun although challenging could help
Using a photograph of my natural teeth (age19)he worked using phenomenal skill with patience and produced dentures of complexity replicating my own teeth so well I was truly overwhelmed (tears!)
They are comfortable, I can eat, I can talk without covering my mouth. My facial structure has been restored ,I have my smile back(after30+years)and my confidence returned.

Dr Karun Dewan is a genius in his field. a magician no less and kind.
The nurses are skilled thoughtful and light hearted .The receptionist s are the best .RESTORE Barnt Green is modern and state of the art. Thank you is not enough I highly recommend it.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Both Lucy and Zahra were very helpful at reception. Appointment was on time and Karun repaired my broken tooth brilliantly. Fay was excellent at assisting Karun. Couldn’t be happier.

Referred to practice due to needing apical surgery. From start to finish I felt i was in excellent hands. Friendly, knowledgeable reception staff who were always happy to help with my queries. Premises were welcoming and very clean and relaxing atmosphere when arrived for my consultation. Mr Dewan my consultant was everything you could want in a dentist doing surgery.. calm, straight to the point, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with the procedure, he took pride in his work and ensured I was happy and comfortable throughout. In 2016 I was diagnosed with secondary cancer in my neck. The large tumour in my neck was removed, and this was followed by having all of my back teeth removed , a normal procedure prior to radiotherapy. This weakened my jaw and meant I was left with a very dry mouth, difficulty with eating and swallowing. Five years after treatment I still found difficulty in chewing as I could only use my front teeth, which became broken and chipped. General health also suffered from a poor diet. The hospital which initially treated me could not help with dentures or implants.

In 2021 a new dentist at my practice told me about RESTORE and referred me to them. So grateful he did, because my initial appointment and consultation with Mr. Karun DEWAN can only be described as a game changer. After initial assessment, x- rays and discussions, Mr Dewan outlined a treatment plan for me. He was so reassuring and obviously understood the difficulties I encountered. This was followed by a written treatment plan and the full cost of treatment. There was no pressure but I am so pleased that I went ahead. After several appointments I am happy to say that my broken teeth have been restored and I have the dentures I need. Throuout the whole course I was treated so well and felt that my welfare was a priority to Mr Dewan and his staff. There must be other cancer patients who need help but hospitals cannot help. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Derwan and RESTORE. He reassures his patients making no false promises or hard sell, and is indeed a great professional.

From beginning to end I found Karun honest and upfront. No undeliverable promises just sound advice and thorough work. No pressure to spend and always honest about where is best to spend my money. If he thinks you can get cheaper elsewhere for the same quality he will tell you, if he thinks he can do the best job, he will tell you, and believe me, he delivered. Superb dentistry and excellent results – a very valuable contact indeed!

Amazing experience with Dr Karun. I had a deep fear of going to the dentist after a bad experience with a root canal treatment when I was younger. After a re treatment, I left the dentist and returned again feeling calm and confident my experience was going to be great. The team at Restore Dental are the utmost professionals. I was referred to Restore, and Karun Dewan in particular, through contacts my brother, a dentist, has in the West Midlands.  We spoke before my first appointment and Karun explained how he would review my general dental health before recommending treatment for the issue bothering me. That’s exactly what happened. Karun explained the problem giving me options, including do nothing, and a clear statement of costs attached. I went ahead with the treatment and associated other work.

Throughout, Karun has explained the relatively simple stages of the treatment, ensuring that I understand what has been done and  what to expect next. He has been happy to guarantee his work and address any issues I had along the way. Communication has been excellent, staff I have dealt with have been extremely pleasant, as are the surroundings, and appointments have been prompt especially given current circumstances.

I am extremely happy with my outcome and, as a result, another family member with more complex issues is now also in Karun’s care.

Attended here recently and had a really positive experience. As soon as I walked in, I felt comfortable as everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I agree with other reviews which mention it feeling like a spa – they’ve made sure the environment is as relaxing as possible! My appointment was with Karun Dewan who was very professional, answered all my questions, and made sure I was happy with my experience. Becky was also lovely and very reassuring! At the end of my consultation, I was advised to just monitor my situation and make an appointment if anything changes – they definitely don’t pressure patients into paying for treatments that they don’t necessarily need to have at that time. I went to restore to see if I could get my smile back again .It had been about 5 years since I really stopped smiling. This practice really is outstanding, with first class facilities, and the care I received on Friday was exemplary. From a warm welcome on arrival at reception, though to the consultation, with full explanations throughout including with review of x-rays and ample opportunities to check I was comfortable and to ask questions, it really was impressive. I would like to strongly recommend Restore Dental Specialists in Barnt Green, it is a beautiful area and easy to park. I was treated by Mr. Karun on 06/08/2020 afternoon. For my case, he was very gentle and patient, work in detail and carefully, it is very good work for my teeth. After 1-2 hours, I felt very helpful and no pain at all. He is a very good and professional dentist, easy to communicate, also Rebecca is a very good nurse and encourage me a lot during the 90 minutes operation.

With persistent pain and cyst formation in relation to upper left molar tooth, I went to Karun Dewan on 6th, August’2020 for treatment. The complete treatment process was very professionally handled starting from initial consultation to post surgery advise. RESTORE is fully equipped and very professionally managed with latest equipments. The staff is very helping and caring, special thanks to nurse Rebecca as well for taking care of me during procedure.
